Never again!

I live about 45 minutes from the stadium and left to get to the match one hour before the game started. I was 2 miles from the stadium one hour before the start. The wall of traffic was so bad at that point it took another 45 minutes to drive 2 miles. 15 minutes to walk from parking lot 50 to the security gate. Then my eticket would not load on my phone and my paper receipt was not accepted. Had to back track out of security gate and spent another 15 min finding and waiting in line at the ticket office. At the window it took the agent 8 minutes to come up with the tickets even with my receipt in his hand. Finally back though security, into the stadium, to find our seats. The game (well underway) took my mind off the struggle to get here but the worst was yet to come. After the match we hoofed it back to lot 50, jump in the car and tried to pull out of the parking spot. No go, the lane was already jammed and traffic was moving at a rate of about 1 inch every 5 minutes. It took 45 minutes just to move out of our parking spot and the only direction available was to the back of the lot. Now I thinking we are still going to be here for another hour with the amount of cars still fighting to get out of here. So I'm out of the car at this point walking around to reduce the stress while my son joins a group of kids kicking a soccer ball around between cars in the rain. I notice a line of large granite blocks fencing off the back of the lot spaced so cars can't get out. But one of the spaces looked wide enough for my car to squeeze through, so I measured it, bingo, picked up my son, squeezed through, got on main road with traffic moving at 15 mph until we reached 495. Finally made it home 3 hours after the soccer game ended. NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN. You couldn't pay me to ever see another event at Gillette Stadium.
